Creating a Funding Account for the Healthy School Meals for All Program

S.B. 23-221 creates the necessary funding account and provides appropriations for the Healthy School Meals for All Program. The Program, created by H.B. 22-1414/S.B. 22-087 (2022), provides schools reimbursement for providing free meals, local foods purchasing, technical assistance, and education grants, money to increase wages or provide stipends to employees who prepare or serve meals, and costs for administering the Program.
