Prohibiting the storage, preparation, distribution, etc of any food or beverage containing artificial trans fats

This law prohibits food establishments from storing, distributing, holding for service, or serving foods containing artificial trans fat or using them in preparation of any menu item or food served. The law carves out an exception for food served directly to patrons in a manufacturer’s original sealed package.
